COVID-19 Impact on the Global Methanol Market:
The COVID-19 pandemic has created several challenges that has drastically affected the methanol market growth due to low demand from end-use industries. Methanol is used as a clean fuel for biodiesel production, diesel blending, production of dimethyl-ether, and others in oil & gas sector. However, methanol used in oil & gas sector as a fuel has been affected owing to import-export restrictions and transportation issues.
