FISH, which is molecular cytogenetic technique, is used for the identification of genetic disorders and the detection of chromosomal genetic abnormalities. CGH, which is also a molecular cytogenetic technique, is used to analyze the variations in copy numbers of the test sample by comparing it with the normal reference sample without using any cell culture.
